Labor Day officially marks the end of summer. School is starting, colder days are approaching and the sun is setting earlier every day. Before you put away the swimsuits and sunscreen — let’s celebrate the summer of 2021 and all things Labor Day. First of all, what is Labor Day? For most it’s a long weekend or first week of school…for others it means more. Labor Day is a holiday in the US dedicated to paying tribute to the American workers and all their achievements throughout the year. This day of observation was created by the labor movement late in the 19th century, honoring the men and women who fought for workers’ rights. We’ve rounded up the decor, fun and serving ware needed so sit back, relax and celebrate. 🇺🇸

Looking for a healthy recipe for your gathering? This salad is always a hit — light and delicious. And so easy to make.
Here’s what I used to make it:
Romaine lettuce (or any green you’d prefer)
Kalamata olives
Cherry tomatoes
Crumbled feta cheese
Chic peas
Balsamic vinegar (but can use whatever dressing is preferred)

As we pull all things red, white and blue from the closet — we concentrated on a few of our summer favorites. Focusing on comfort… and anything easy to move around in and play yard games is key for our long weekend up north. Make sure to have a pullover or sweatshirt ready, those temps can dip low around the bonfire at night. 🙂 Shop more fashion items here, on our LTK app and Facebook Page.

We are hopeful that you all will be able to enjoy your long weekend, surrounded by loved ones making memories. Happy Labor Day, friends! ❤️🤍💙
