It’s the last week of September which means we have officially shifted our mindset to all things Halloween!! Make sure you follow us on our Facebook Page where we share all things spooky like home decor, party decor, costumes, fun outfits and so much more! We love seeing all of the cool costumes year after year from little goblins to fairy princesses, but our favorite costumes to see are family costumes! However, they can be tough to put together, which is why we are here to help! We have rounded up some of the cutest and trendiest family costumes that you and the kiddos are sure to love.
When we said we found trendy costumes, we are looking at you Bluey! These are some of the cutest costumes we’ve seen so far and just love that they have a Bandit and Chili jumpsuit for Mom and Dad too! These will surely be a big hit amongst the kiddos and adults alike because everyone loves Bluey! (Seriously, we catch ourselves watching it, too!)
While the costumes are precious, they are also so comfortable to wear out because they are actually sleeper onesies. Talk about versatility! If you are in the colder states like us, it’s freezing on Halloween so these costumes will keep you nice and toasty. 10/10 from us! We can’t wait to see people rocking these.
Hi Barbie!!! Another trendy costume idea is the iconic looks from the Barbie movie! Cowgirl Barbie was a big hit last Halloween and it looks like the doll is here to stay this year with these cute costumes from Target. If you’re a fan of the movie, you know how awesome the skater Barbie and Ken costumes are. These are great for couples and will certainly get lots of compliments.
If you have littles who loved the movie or are in a big Barbie phase right now, they have a few adorable options for them too. This disco Barbie jumpsuit is so sweet, we can’t wait to see all of the little Barbies trick-or-treating!! There are a few more options here if you want to see all of the available Barbie costumes.
If you’re looking for something a bit simpler, we think these food costumes are hilarious! The adult costumes require a little less prep and are simply two pieces so these are great if you are looking for last-minute options or something that takes less time to get ready. (We hear ya busy mommas!)
If your kiddos prefer a sillier costume, we bet they would giggle all night dressed up in a hot dog suit. Plus, these will make for precious memories down the road. They also have this adorable hot dog carrier and hat for an infant. Absolutely precious!
We just had to share these Toy Story costumes from Walmart! These costumes are so well done, and we hope we see them this year. How fun would it be for Mom and Dad to dress up as Woody and Jessie?! Too cute. The first Toy Story came out in the 90’s and there is another one coming out in 2026! These will be fun costumes because it’s one you and your kiddos have loved over the years.
If you have a younger kiddo, one of their favorite characters is probably Forky from the later movies. This costume is so cute and they can be as goofy as they want- just like Forky! Finally, if you have a little one, we found this sweet Buzz Lightyear costume!
Now if you and your family want to get in the Halloween spirit but don’t necessarily want to dress up in costumes, we found some great matching themed t-shirts from Amazon. There are so many options to choose from but we rounded up our favorites above. These will be great if your kids are older and not into dressing up anymore or if you are participating in a trunk-or-treat.
