We love shopping the LiketoKnow.It app (or LTK)! We often get questions about how to shop the LTK links we share and we thought we would do an informational blog post to help break it down for those of you who are unfamiliar with the app. If you are new to the app or love scrolling the LTK discover page like we do, follow us here for our everyday style and outfit inspiration!
What is LTK?
LTK is the one-stop shop for shopping items from your favorite brands. You can find anything from beauty and fashion to home and fitness, and so much more! Whenever we share our outfits or home finds, you may see a shop LTK link. Everything we post on stories or social platforms can be found on LTK. You can follow your favorite influencers on LTK and explore new creators and trends. In a nutshell, LTK essentially makes it easier for you to shop your favorite items. You can also use the app as a source of inspiration, too! Think date night outfits, wedding guest outfits, modern bathroom inspo, etc…
How To Shop LTK?
First, download the LTK app from your app store. (It’s free!) After setting up your profile, you are ready to shop! Using the search bar, you can search for any of your favorite creators and follow them. Find us by searching Midwest Money Saving Mommas and tap the follow button. All creators you follow will then appear on your home page so you never miss their posts!
The favorites tab is one of LTK’s best features. Any time you favorite a product or post, LTK will email you when that item goes on sale. It’s so convenient! Simply heart the post you would like to receive notifications for. LTK has recently rolled out a comments feature so if you have questions you can message us on the app and we will promptly get back to you. The discover tab lets you see trending posts and items you may find appealing. Lastly, you can find the best deals in the deals tab.
Why Shop on LTK?
The LTK app makes it so easy to search for your favorite items. You can even search within our LTK shop! For example, if you remember seeing us share a cute romper but can’t find it you can use the search bar on our LTK shop to quickly find it. It’s so much more convenient than scrolling through our Facebook page to find what you’re looking for. You can easily save your items to your favorites tab and create a shopping wish list. Get notified via email any time one of your favorited posts goes on sale!
LTK Spring Sale:
The LTK Spring Sale is live from March 8th to the 11th. The sale includes many of our favorite retailers such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Aerie, Tarte, e.l.f. Cosmetics, and more! Start favoriting items NOW and purchase during the sale this weekend. On the first day of the sale, watch out for posts that are marked with a ‘Spring Sale’ or ‘LTK Exclusive Sale’ banner. Tap a product to reveal the discount details, including a ‘Copy Promo’ button to copy the promo code. Save this to your notes for easier shopping! Each retailer will have different sales and codes.
