The bag:

The bag you choose to haul around at games, practices, and tournaments is important. It has to be large enough to hold all of the essentials, but not be so bulky that it weighs you down. Our favorite bags that we use daily are the Mainstays Large All Purpose Flex Laundry Tote and the Time and Tru Women’s Waterproof EVA Beach Tote Bag both pictured above. These affordable bags compare to the pricier BOGG bag option and are of great quality. A sturdy wagon and cooler bags are also a must-have, especially for long days at the ballpark. We love the Stanley cooler bags, and these new arrivals from Target are at great prices!
Sideline Essentials:

Long days at the field are so much easier when you have the right sideline essentials packed and ready to go. We always bring a stadium seat or a heated lawn chair to stay comfortable through chilly mornings, late-night games, and everything in between. For warmer days, a neck fan and portable fan are must-haves to help beat the heat during long innings or tournament weekends. We also keep a baseball cap for sun protection, a portable charger so our phone never dies while taking photos or videos, and a speaker for a little background music during downtime between games and for walk-up jams. Also, because outdoor sports always come with a few surprises, mosquito itch relief is one of those small items we’re always glad we packed.
Snacks:

Stanley is our go-to for game day snacks and drinks. From outdoor coolers in a variety of sizes to tumblers and food jars, their products keep everything cold and ready for long days at the field. We also always pack this snacklebox which is under $10 and has individual lids. This box is a game-changer for keeping snacks organized.
sun essentials:

Protecting yourself from the sun is a must for long days spent outdoors, which is why these sun essentials always stay in my sports mom bag. We always pack lip balm with SPF, like the Sun Bum lip balm, to keep our lips protected and hydrated throughout the day. Sunscreen is another non-negotiable, and while we love EltaMD, any sunscreen you know and trust works great for keeping your skin protected during hours in the sun. A good pair of sunglasses is the finishing touch and something we never forget because they make a huge difference during bright afternoon games and weekend tournaments.
That’s everything we keep in our sports mom bag to stay prepared, comfortable, and ready for every game day, no matter how long we’re at the field!
